I'm writing to commend your server, Laura Jamison, on duty on Friday November 26th, upstairs at the Belgo, for her excellent service and attitude. She went out of her way to provide a great dining experience, more so than any other server actions that I have experienced before.
Please thank her again and forward this to her boss so that the administration at Belgo knows they have top expertise in that department.

Hi Marie. Thank you for your note. You have made it easy to pass on the comments I should already have sent.
First, I want to thank you for supporting Calgary charitable events with your certificate for the tasting dinner. Businesses like yours that support the community make this City a terrific place to live and ensure it will keep improving in the future. Well done!
Next, I can assure you that the meal was outstanding, and all of my guests will be returning customers to Belgo. I use Belgo as a downtown businessman with nearby offices. I have held small gatherings there including client dinners and many lunches under various names. I have also given a couple thousand dollars of your gift certificates to my colleagues and encouraged them to use you. So your Tasting dinner gift certificate ensured that the Charity (which I think was The University Eye Foundation) had a supporter.
I brought as guests my wife and 2 other couples none of whom work downtown, and whom have not previously been to Belgo.
They were all very impressed with Chris, his food preparation and information, and your restaurant. The experience broke through their downtown dinner location issues, and created new supporters who all said they will all be back and bring guests. My guests included 2 successful local businessmen who are the kind of clientele that I am sure you are looking for. The combined wine with Belgian beer pairings made for a Belgo only experience that everyone, and especially the guys, truly enjoyed. But the highlight of course was the special menu and outstanding food.
I am still overwhelmed with the time and dedication Chris spent making such a terrific and memorable meal. I have recommended Belgo and this experience to others, and will be sure to bring other guests. Our waiter also took very good care of us. It was an outstanding marketing of your business, and will, I am sure, pay longer term returns.
I very much thank you, Belgo's management, and Chris for making me look so good. Again, well done.

I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time my group had at the restaurant last Thursday. Unfortunately, as the time drew nearer to the night, as is often the case with working gals, life gets in the way and the numbers dropped to about 9 instead of 15. I just wanted to compliment your staff, our waiter that night was wonderful and extremely attentive. Also, the manager made an effort to chat with us and we all felt very special. We had a great get-together and we really appreciated the quiet private are which allowed us to visit with each other in comfort! I really enjoyed the food (I had the mussels & fries, yum!) and especially the beer. I'll be back.

Nancy and I just caught up and she said everyone had a wonderful time on Tuesday night. They were all impressed with the Terrace area and how private, Christmassy and beautiful it was. The food was enjoyed by all!

I just have to say I was so impressed with everything....it was great. The balloons, the private area near the back by the Christmas tree, and the exceptional food and the service from Joe was impeccable. I was truly impressed when they sabered the champagne bottle! Wow!! Very cool.
I will be having a private party in June for about 40 or so and plan to be in contact with you in regards to this...the upstairs area I think would be perfect for a cocktail style reception that I'm planning and Belgo has the right atmosphere, service and food for such a celebration.
